Women and girls with disabilities are often invisible in the programs of those promoting the rights of persons with disabilities and those promoting gender equality and the advancement of women. This course addresses their issues and concerns. It introduces learners to basic gender sensitivity concepts, enhancing their awareness and understanding of gender and development (GAD) and its related issues. This online course is designed to help learners apply gender equality concepts in their personal lives and communities and work towards a more gender—and disability-inclusive society. 

This is a five-module course for those who will train the trainers and everyone who likes to be aware of gender and development (GAD) focusing on women and children with disabilities. You will receive a Certificate of Module Completion after finishing each module. Then you will receive the Certificate of Course Completion after you complete Modules 1 to 5. 

    This is the fifth and final module of the Gender and Development Trainer's Training Course. This module assists the learner in how to develop inclusive programs and policies that would be beneficial to women with disabilities.

      This is the fourth module of the Gender and Development Trainer's Training Course. This module exposes the realities and vulnerabilities of Persons With Disabilities during disasters. It also addresses how these can be addressed to achieve the United Nations' sustainable development goals.

        This is the 2nd module of the Gender and Development Trainer's Training Course. This module walks us through the history of empowered women, learn about their struggles, and emulate their successes in advocating their rights to a free and equitable society.
